Changes to Centre Trading from Monday 11th October

 

On Monday 27th September the NSW Premier announced planned changes to the current ‘stay at home’ orders once NSW reaches 70% double dose vaccination rates. It is expected that these changes will occur on Monday 11th October. On this date, all stores within our centre will reopen with most operating under some trading restrictions including capacity limits.

 

When visiting us from Monday 11th October, there are a few things we will ask you to do to help us keep you, and our team, safe.

 

Plan Ahead

We know that some of our stores have been closed since June and many of you are looking forward to visiting them. We appreciate your ongoing support. Our Retailers and their team members look forward to welcoming you back in store. We expect our Centre to be busy and we encourage you to plan ahead for your visit. When you visit stores within our centre, you will notice capacity limits on entries. We ask that you adhere to these limits and only enter the store if capacity allows. For all hair and beauty services, please make bookings in advance. Waiting areas within stores may be limited or unavailable so where possible we ask that you arrive for these services at your set appointment time.

 

Check-In with QR Codes

You are required to check-in on entry to our centre and also each store that you visit. These QR check-ins provide important information for NSW Health should a COVID-19 positive case occur in our centre. Should you be classified as being a close or casual contact, you will be contacted directly by NSW Health and advised if you are required to get a COVID-19 test. By ensuring people are aware of any direct exposure, we can play our part in minimising the spread and keeping our community safe.

 

Wear a Mask

At all times whilst in centre you are required to wear a mask unless eating or drinking. Our team, partners and tenants will also be wearing masks at all times.

 

Physical Distancing

Please ensure you maintain 1.5 metres between yourself and others at all times. Additionally, some stores will be operating under the 1 person per 4 sqm rule. Capacity limits will be clearly displayed on store entries

 

Treat all staff and each other with respect

All staff working in our centre are here to serve you and ensure you have an enjoyable experience whilst with us. All team members are required to adhere to the guidelines set out by the NSW Government. Our team, our retailers and their teams will be pleasant and helpful and we ask that you are kind and patient with them. Our priority remains on keeping them, and you, safe.

Current Government Restrictions for the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA

On Friday 20th August 2021, the NSW Premier announced that the current ‘stay at home’ orders for Greater Sydney will be extended until the end of September 2021.

In line with these extended government restrictions, all current operational restrictions remain in place for our Centre.

Additionally, from 12.01am Monday 23rd August 2021, the following additional restrictions apply:

     - Stores that provide pet supplies, office supplies, landscaping materials (including plants), hardware and building supplies must close and provide click and collect only

When visiting us for your essential goods and services, please remember:

     - Check in on entry
     - Wear a mask in Centre at all times
     - Utilise the sanitiser on entry
     - Cough or sneeze into your elbow

Importantly, please stay home if you are feeling unwell and get tested for COVID-19 if symptoms occur. We understand that this extended lockdown is difficult for our community and we are here to support you. Thank you for your ongoing understanding and support.

Latest COVID-19 Confirmed Exposure Sites

 

Wednesday 4th August 2021 

Today we were made aware that a customer who visited Mina Bay Seafood on Wednesday 4th August between 10:00am and 10:55am has returned a positive COVID-19 test result.

Any visitor to this store during the above-mentioned day and time is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative test result. Wear a mask around others and limit your movements until you get another negative result. You should continue to monitor for symptoms and if any symptoms occur you should get tested again.

Mina Bay Seafood has completed a clean in line with SafeWork Australia guidelines. Additionally, any team members who worked during the above-mentioned date and time are following the above health advice.

This is an important reminder to ensure that when you visit us for your essential goods and services you are:

  • checking in on entry via the Service NSW COVID-Safe Check In app and at individual stores
  • maintaining 1.5 metres between yourself and others
  • wearing a mask at all times
  • observing store capacity limits 
  • utilising the hand sanitiser on entries

Additionally, if you are feeling unwell, please stay home and ensure you get tested if you have symptoms.

Staying safe and well is a community effort. Together we can minimise any risks and play our part in stopping the spread.

     - Bass Hill Plaza – General mall area
          - Tuesday 3rd August between 2:45pm and 3:30pm
     - Woolworths
          - Tuesday 3rd August between 5:30pm and 7pm

Any visitor to these locations during the above-mentioned day and times is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative test result. If your date of exposure at this venue occurred in the last four days, you must get another test on day five from the date of exposure. Wear a mask around others and limit your movements until you get another negative result. You should continue to monitor for symptoms and if any symptoms occur you should get tested again.
